Mclouth Traded To Braves

Why couldnt the mets do this trade? Mclouth is a great out fielder with good speed and great bat, we have the minor league talent to give up, the braves only gave up a couple of minor league pitchers and I dont see why the mets couldnt do the same. The effects of a broken lineup are kicking in now and I am very afraid of whats to come against the phillies if they cant score more than a run of the pirates.

Ramon Castro Traded To The White Sox

Right after the game yesterday, Ramon Castro was traded to the White Sox for relief pitcher Lance Broadway, and sent to AAA Buffalo. Ive been a fan of Ramon Castro and I dont really Like Brian Schneider, I like Castros bat more than Brian. I think the mets could of at least tried to move one of the catchers to 1st base, Santos since he is younger and in better shape, now we lose a good bat, and if Brians health problems continue then we lose alot with having to call up some other minor leaguer weve never heard.
